I’ve worked as a translator since 2005. At the beginning, I only had agency customers, but gradually I managed to acquire direct customers.

The conditions (deadlines, payment habits) at agencies became so exploitative and unacceptable at some point that I basically started turning down these kinds of orders – then again, I’d never worked with a translation agency before that approaches every order as professionally as techtrans.

It feels like a total win-​win situation – both for the customer and service provider. I never used to associate words like “fair” and “decent” with an agency; techtrans is definitely a major exception.
